Thematic Session: "Measurements and Testing in the Shipbuilding Industry"

As part of the All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "Measurements. Testing. Control", a thematic session titled "Measurements and Testing in the Shipbuilding Industry" will take place on October 22, from 13:30 to 15:00.

The session will be moderated by Ruslan Konstantinovich Polyakov, Executive Director of the Association "Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Cluster of the Kaliningrad Region".

The program includes several expert presentations. Egor Anatolyevich Serzhantov, Director of the “Engineering and Expert Center” LLC, will speak about the Multifunctional Laboratory Complex of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

Dmitry Gennadievich Gryazin, Chief Metrologist and Head of Department 068 at JSC “Concern CSRI Elektropribor”, will address current metrological challenges in the shipbuilding industry, and the role of the Council of Chief Metrologists in Shipbuilding in solving these issues.

Eduard Valeryevich Anderson, Head of Division at the Kurchatov Institute Research Center – Prometey, will present on metrological support for non-destructive testing equipment in shipbuilding.

Zoya Viktorovna Fomkina, Lead Engineer at Research Laboratory 2511 of the D.I. Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology (VNIIM), will discuss metrological support for laser measurement systems.

Georgy Pavlovich Batov, Consultant at CROPUS Research and Production Center LLC, will give a presentation on ultrasonic testing of welds made using laser and hybrid welding techniques.
